Shoppers are going crazy over these $10 charity bags full of high-end beauty products from Chemist Warehouse

With prices for essential goods rising each day, it's become increasingly tricky for us to cope with the cost of living crisis and afford even the most basic of luxuries. A lot of us are now leaving more expensive items on the shelf at the checkout, and beauty products are no exception.

However, savvy shoppers have found a way to experience a bit of 'luxury' without breaking the bank!

As part of Chemist Warehouse’s annual Liptember campaign, $10 lucky dip charity bags full of high-end beauty products have been launched.

The bags are being sold for $2, $5 and $10, with all proceeds going to Liptember Foundation, which supports women's mental health.

One shopper managed to get two of the $5 bags at a store in Geelong and posted about her haul on social media.

She reported that the products amounted to well over $450 in value, with items including a $41.99 La Roche Posay Effaclar Ultra Concentrate Serum, a $13 Maybelline Superstay 24 Hour Foundation and a $13 Nude by Nature Satin Liquid Lipstick.

'RUN, DON'T WALK to your local Chemist Warehouse,' she said.

'Got two bags from Chemist Warehouse on Little Malop Street, Geelong. Yes, all of these for $10. Worth about $450+... Just go to your local Chemist Warehouse and ask for $5 lucky dip bags!'

It's a great deal, and videos of the lucky dip bags have been flooding social media, with one Sunshine Coast shopper, Jess Poulter, scoring a $20 cosmetic bag and eight products worth more than $120 for the price of $10!

For reference, here’s what was inside Poulter’s lucky dip bag:
With a whopping total of $121.95!

Followers were extremely impressed with Poulter’s amazing find.

‘For $10? That’s an absolute steal these days,’ one user said.

‘Okay, I need [this],’ another added.

And a third said: ‘That’s a pretty good value.’

Another woman asked if the products Poulter got were in-date or close to their expiration, Poulter replied and said: 'The ones that had a date didn't expire for a year!'

However, not all Chemist Warehouse locations seem to be selling these amazing lucky dip bags.

One user explained: 'Just so everyone knows, not all Chemist Warehouses do this bag, every store is doing different things to raise money for this!'

price line often has spend $60 on haircare products abd receive a goody bag .
I would stick up on shampoo abd conditioner that was 50 % off and the get a bag which was pretty good.

I would love a couple of these chemist warehouse bags but I'm thinking it will be very limited stores or they will already be sold out by now.

I'll suggest there going to be a bit like a showbag, full of more junk than anything you actually need.
Ah, but Alan Q, remember the excitement and joy we had discovering what was in those show bags. Whether we wanted, could use or liked the taste of the lollies or not, it was something that we all looked forward to once a year at show time. So why not enjoy a little bit of childhood excitement and purchase a lucky dip and this time the money goes to charity and not into the “carnies” pocket. I say go for it if they’re available at a Chemist Warehouse near you.

Why not donate $10 to a useful charity rather than buy junk?
I donate regular to the McGrath foundation for breast cancer and the children's hospital Randwick.

I donate these bags to my daughters who use just about everything in them . I have even found the perfect hand cream by getting one of these bags which my friends and daughters buy

I'd be interested if the baggies had things like shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mozzie spray , sunscreen etc. Not much interested in overpriced (up to 1000%) make-up and this I know as a girlfriend used to sell make-up. I have my preferred charities I give to.
