Nothing says spring and new life like baby birds! We were so privileged to have Australias smallest honeyeater, the Spiney Billed Honeyeater, create it's tiny perfectly round nest strung like a hammock on a flower of a bromeliad in our garden. We watched it lay two eggs, hatch out the babies, and both parents feed and finally fledge the chicks two weeks after hatching! So special..
