See how a $5.75 Woolworths bargain transformed this oven!

Are you looking to revamp your kitchen and give your oven a sparkling new look? Well, we have the perfect solution, and it all starts with a bargain buy from Woolworths and an added tool from Bunnings!

A recent post on the popular Facebook group Mums Who Clean revealed how one savvy shopper managed to transform her oven for just $5. Intrigued? We were too!

The homeowner posted impressive images to show how she overhauled her dirty oven. The miracle purchase was an Easy-Off Bam Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner, which can be picked up from Woolworths for just $5.75.

Although the instructions advise it must be sprayed onto the oven and left for five minutes, the shopper revealed that she left it on for roughly 45 minutes and cleaned everything else in her kitchen.

She said: 'Wear gloves and open windows as it is smelly and messy'.

The final step in the oven transformation was to use an Oates Scraper Blade, available at Bunnings for just $6.99. Describing her technique, she said she used the Easy-Off Bam and 'a silver scourer thing from Woolies'. To finish the job, she used her trusty scraper to scrape off the tough bits. Voila!

Another added: ‘Love it. Scrapers make everything look sparkly new.’

A third wrote: 'Woah... looks brand new.'

The Oates Scraper Blade currently has a 5-star rating on Bunnings’ website. Reviews range from ‘This scraper is the best tool ever for cleaning oven doors,’ to ‘This is a great scraper, just wish you could get spare blades for it.’

Meanwhile, Easy-Off Bam Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner currently has a 4.7-star rating on Woolworths’ website.

One review claimed, ‘I used this on my oven, did a fantastic job at cleaning it. Was very easy to follow the instructions and did exactly what it’s advertised to do.’

While another provided a warning, ‘Amazing product but would recommend reading first the instructions as it’s not suitable for all bbq/oven surfaces.’

sounds like the elbow grease should also be recognised in this persons 'cleaning'. can actually says leave for minimum 5mins but don't allow to dry.

How can anyone let their oven get this dirty I would be ashamed to show that. Clean after every use doesn’t take much effort.makes u wonder what the rest of home looks like.
