Fell off my road bike at reasonable high speed this morning, lots of missing skin, a lot of bruising…bit sore and sorry for myself, all clear from the doctor, tomorrow is another day!!

My good Lord, so sorry to hear that Bullwinkle, were you drag racing those young kids again, remember your helmet gloves and leathers at all times....did this many times as a kid, those injuries sure sting. Please look after your injuries and get better as soon as can be.

You are in the wrong forum but IMHO that depends on the person and his/her situation. I have had multiple accidents during my lifetime and never had a problem until the last one which although being the most minor I'd had, made me decide it was time to stop. That was 3 years ago at the age of 64. You eventually know when to give it away even though I miss it intensely. Hope this helps.
