I'm giving up on your "trivia" If you sail due East from Brazil you hit the coast of Africa, not Portugal which is 1,000's of kilometers to the North.

Africa is not a European country though...that was the question..1st European country..

I don't think Q7 is correct. Brazil is south of the equator and the countries given as possible answers are north of the equator. If you travel due East from Brazil, then you would arrive in Gabon in Africa. Portugal is the closest northern country from there in the answers to choose from.

Same! and it's not the first time either. I'm done. And yet some people got the "Correct" answer??

Question 2 is total BS.

Incorrect! While carbon dioxide gets the most attention as a greenhouse gas, methane actually has a global warming potential 28-36 times that of CO2 over a 100-year period. Methane is emitted from sources like livestock, landfills, and oil and gas operations.

Sulphur hexafluoride has a global warming potential of 22,800 with carbon dioxide being the benchmark at 1. Just slightly more than 28 - 36 of that of methane!

EDIT: Methane is the correct answer from the options given. There are numerous gases, including nitrous oxide, which dwarf CH4 in the GWP stakes.

The definition of due east is being on the same latitude, not the general direction of east. Brazil lies between the latitudes of 6 degrees north and 34 degrees south. Countries due east, by definition, of Brazil are Gabon, Angola, Namibia, South Africa, Republic of Congo and Equatorial Republic of the Congo. All depends on which part of Brazil you depart from. Don't forget....Brazil has a coastline of 7491 kms!

Anyone who disagrees with the above facts is barking up the wrong tree in Antarctica.
