Hi, maybe some clarification is needed to the question about which country has the most lakes. The answer is actually Canada and Finland doesn't even make the top ten. Their definition of a lake is very different to the rest of the world. Sorry to be a bringer of bad news.

Actually, Finland has the 3rd most lakes at 188,000 lakes in the world behind Canada (879,000) and Russia (201,000).

Yes, icy puddles are not lakes. Q When is a lake not a lake, when it's frozen for more than half a year lol.

the question wasn't who had most lakes. It was who was known as the Land of a 1thousand lakes - quite a different question

I found many articles after that also the Atcama Desert. and that was may only incorrect answer
 
90%. Atcama Desert, I numerous sources when I checked is the driest. And the valleys was 2nd. There are so many conflicting answers for questions quite often when you do a search after, just like this one.
