I was so wrapped in what the team was doing that I made the effort to pay the lifetime fee, Joining SDC was just like following my old job, in life you cannot please everyone no matter how hard you try.

I think the SDC do a magnificent job and to help them on the way I scraped to make a life long donation.

The yearly fee is well worth the paying. After all we have lively discussions like above. Thank you Maddison for pointing out the nitty-gritty about your supporting the deaf charity. I for one think the fee is well worth paying.

I use a walker. When I go to Aldi, 1 put items in nylon bags which I hang from my walker handles. At checkout I put the bag on top of the items and ask the operator to replace items in the same bag as they check them. They always oblige and no one waiting behind me has ever objected.
