Scam at Coles.​

I wanted to let members know, that I do online grocery shopping at Coles. I am sure that many of us do. The service is excellent. I received a text message today, saying that it was Coles, with a link to get a Coles voucher for $30.00. I was suspicious, and called Coles directly. It’s a scam, so if anyone receives a text from Coles, do not open the link, or you will be exposed to fraudulent activity, and your credit card information is at risk. Please beware my fellow young Seniors. Gezabel.

People are saying they are getting scam messages from Coles. News flash people, Coles DO NOT send scam messages, it's scammers that do that. You can't blame Coles.

We do not use any of the online shopping apps for groceries because we enjoy our shopping experience in store, looking at what we are buying, rather than relying on someone else to pick our grocery items for us.

There is a personal aspect of meeting/ chatting with the staff at the checkouts in store and you develop a repour with the some of the staff, they remember us each time we call in and shop.

My wife and I both enjoy meeting/ chatting with other customers which you do not get with online shopping.
I think it can be a matter of time and convenience; if you have a busy work life schedule then having your groceries delivered or going to the pickup point is a time saver. It is a personal choice I suppose we just enjoy the social aspects of meeting people while we are shopping.
