Saucy Sausages under $4.50 a serve

If I'm eating this, I leave out the mushrooms, my family love the added mushrooms.
I always serve this with mashed potato and peas
  • Easy

Pity you can’t find decent sausages any more even woollies are horrible now 😢

If you can find a decent sausage at a reasonable price ... I'm sure the sausages they sell are floor sweepings.... tasteless.

I buy sausages about once/year, so @Suzanne rose will have to let us know what type she buys.

I find the thin sausages the best to buy - beef, pork and chicken from Woolies - I use them for one pot meals like this and there are so many variations to the dish - just like this recipe with sausages and soup which is one I haven't thought of to try - great!

I buy good beef sausages from an old fashioned butchers in Mortdale Sydney.

If I have to I use the Coles thin beef ones

I never use pork sausages
I always use them fresh and never freeze them

Bangers and beans fantastic grub if I can find thick pork sausages? they all seem to be either beef or chicken?

None in walking distance doesn’t matter I might try woollies beef ones instead.😎
Aye all they seem to have is thin ones or chipolatas which aren"t bad with beans but I do prefer the thick ones which my missus reckons are a perfect match.

thank you, we love snags and are happy to pay a little extra instead of buying the endless supply of BBQ snags on offer. I usually serve with mash and baked beans, nothing fancy in that and husband loves it, I will try this recipe for something a bit different.
