Who remembers indulging in a crunchy Sao biscuit topped with cheese and tomatoes? This iconic combo, seasoned with salt and pepper, has been a cherished lunchtime treat since the ‘60s. Sadly, many have noticed that today's Sao biscuits aren't quite the same. Do you still enjoy this classic pairing, or has it lost its charm?

I still eat this as either a lunch or as a snack. Love it always

I prefer a cheese, tomato and beetroot sandwich or roll myself.

A slice of onion with that sandwich is also great. For some reason I really like beetroot and onion sandwiches.

Used to eat sao biscuits and kruskits with cottage cheese, haven’t had them for years, funny how you forget about past foods you ate.

Saos with tomato and cheese or vegemite, sometimes peanut butter and honey with a good cuppa will do me for morning or afternoon tea. They keep fresh in a large screwtop jar. I will never give them up!

Yes I have.
