Royal outing in style: Kate Middleton’s dazzling outfits during the Cambridges diplomatic trip to the Caribbean

If you are a member of the Royal Family, you are expected to dress up for public appearances. After all, you are in the public eye 24/7.
However, dressing up can be a chore, as you have to be careful to choose outfits that are appropriate for the occasion and that will not attract too much attention.
Well, dressing up in style for outings doesn't seem to be a problem for the Duchess of Cambridge herself, as she dazzled in yet another collection of outfits during her royal tour to the Caribbean.
Kate Middleton was said to have worn new outfits — a mix of trendy designer pieces and high-street brand wear — costing an estimate of $60,100 for the Cambridges diplomatically-delicate trip to the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Belize.
Some of the most expensive pieces that the Duchess wore include the $2,900 Alessandra Rich dress, with $981.77 Gianvito Rossi shoes, $1,048 bag from Ferragamo, $5,958.77 earrings, a glittering green gown from Jenny Packham at an estimated $6,644.53, and a Phillipa Lepley dress at an estimated $11,395.75.
Kate also donned pieces from modern designers — such as the A-listers favourite, The Vampire's Wife — and vintage clothing from Willow Hilson as well as Yves Saint Laurent and Stella McCartney.
The Duchess was also seen sporting some accessories from the late Princess Diana's jewellery collection, including a diamond and sapphire pendant crafted from one of the late royal's favourite pieces.
It was also said that Her Majesty herself lent some items to the Duchess for the high-profile tour, which included a pair of pearl studs and a pair of gold and emerald drop earrings.
It is understood that costs of the Duchess' wardrobes are funded by the Prince of Wales' official household budget for "work-related" engagements. However, it is not clear whether the royal paid the outfits at full price or was offered discounts.
