Royal controversy deepens—what really happened at Sentebale?

Recent reports have uncovered new tensions surrounding the Duke of Sussex and a key figure at his charity, Sentebale.

Allegations of uncomfortable interactions and boardroom drama have emerged, sparking controversy and questions about the charity’s future.

This latest chapter in the ongoing dispute sheds light on a fractured relationship, with the stakes higher than ever.

The Duke of Sussex has faced new allegations following his exit from Sentebale’s patronage.

This fresh development involves a message he allegedly sent to the charity’s chairwoman, Sophie Chandauka.

Chandauka, who had been embroiled in a boardroom dispute with Harry, reportedly received a note from the Duke demanding an explanation.

The note was said to be ‘unpleasant’ in tone, with sources describing the language as ‘imperious’.

This latest twist came after Harry stepped down from his role as the charity’s patron, following a tense battle between him and the charity’s board.

Earlier, Chandauka had accused Harry of attempting to 'eject' her from her position through 'bullying' and 'harassment'.

A source close to former trustees and patrons dismissed her comments, calling them a ‘publicity stunt’.

This dispute reportedly began after a decision to focus fundraising efforts in Africa, which led to several trustees resigning.

Timothy Boucher, Mark Dyer, Audrey Kgosidintsi, Kelello Lerotholi, and Damian West all left, stating they had lost trust in Chandauka’s leadership.

Their resignations were described as ‘devastating’, but the trustees remained firm, putting the charity’s best interests first.

Chandauka’s role as chairwoman was further questioned after an incident at a Sentebale fundraising polo match last April.

During the event, the Duchess of Sussex appeared to direct where people stood, which led to an awkward moment when Chandauka moved away from Harry’s side to stand next to Meghan.

This incident involved a member of Harry’s team allegedly requesting that Chandauka issue a statement to quell rumours of tension with Meghan.

When she refused, it was claimed that Harry directly contacted her, demanding an explanation for her actions.

In the wake of this fallout, Harry and Prince Seeiso, who co-founded Sentebale with Harry in 2006, issued a joint statement supporting the departing trustees.

They announced they would step back as patrons ‘until further notice’, calling the breakdown of the relationship with Chandauka ‘devastating’.

Sentebale, which was founded in honour of Harry’s late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, supports children and young people in southern Africa, particularly those living with HIV and AIDS.

The Duke’s office declined to comment on the matter.

In a previous story, we covered the escalating tensions within Sentebale that led to Prince Harry’s resignation.

New reports now reveal even more drama behind the scenes, including allegations of a heated exchange between the Duke and the charity’s chair.

Read on to uncover the latest developments in this ongoing controversy.

people have been puting the boot into Harry since he was born with red hair. We know his useless father didn't want him because he wasn't a girl. If someone pissed into the wind and the water went in the wrong direction, Harry would get the blame. GET OFF HIS BACK and stop believing everything people accuse him of without actual proof.

Very unpleasant for all and the charity will suffer too.

This should NEVER have been released by the media. What is reported is not always correct either.
Had the Adelaide media been taken to court in the 1940s they would not have been happy.

Leave him alone, we have other issues to discuss. I`m sick of the rumors and scandles regarding royal family. I`m not a royalist at all but, they are just like everyone else, a messy family and have dirty laundry. And the media is onto someting that will sell, people seem to love this. I don`t know why?

I'm sure many families have issues. They aren't public figures so the are not publicised

Half the rubbish you read about the royals is made up by journalists with nothing better to write about ! I don’t read it anymore.

The only unpleasantness with be the Sentebale Executive Director, Carmel Gaillard's, salary being at risk.

And why wasn't she mentioned in the article? 🤔

"Harry and Meghan" is an ongoing saga which everyone is tired of. However, the behaviour mentioned does seem to be an ongoing pattern.

I don't consider this pair of attention seekers as "public figures".

More like public enemies!

Well methinks Harry still thinks he is it and a bit. Those days have gone when you turned your back on your family and your country

Their behaviour on visual media proves my point.

Unless you think that is digitally altered by CGI.

I thought it was a good thing years ago to have freedom of speech but the media has gone beyond this with the supposed news they print from supposed sources that they don't even have to name. They print whatever garbage they want to pull down whoever they want into the gutter they work in & this has led to the everyday person in the street to follow suit with their anger & hatred.
I loved this club to start with & I still love the games etc & happy news but seriously giving it a second thought.

That comment sure exceeds my usual vitriolic content!

Ginger and Whinger are professional attention seekers.
That interview with that fat black lady Oprah was enough for me.
