Am in the throes of purchasing a new house and relocating.
I don't want anymore long term pets but I am considering helping to train pups/dogs for the blind and of course the lab is a most common breed.

Roger is an ex WA Guide Dog puppy (he was withdrawn with medical problems)
Please do look into raising a Guide Dog puppy, can be frustrating, but also very rewarding. Very highly recommended. If your not able to commit for approx 14 months, they need respite dog minders for short term durations.

I didn't know about short term respite. I'll look into that.
