Riddle Masters 25.09.23

Happy Monday, members! We hope you've had a pleasant day so far.

Here's our first riddle for the week:

There is a pink house made of bricks, a blue house made of bricks, and an orange house made of bricks. What colour of bricks is a greenhouse made of?

Well, I'd like mine done with black so it absorbs a lot of heat... So, what's your answer? If you think it's correct, leave it below!
[Green house has no bricks./SPOILER]

A greenhouse is generally not made of bricks, usually cloth plastic or glass. But a Green House could well be made with green bricks.

Greenhouses are not made of bricks

Ha! Riddle 2,462 down... Kidding! (Though if anyone did count, mad props to you!)
Before we reveal the roll of people who answered the riddle correctly, here are a few interesting answers first:

@Ken E: No colour - green houses are made of glass or clear polyurethane

@bedandy2006: Not bricks! A greenhouse is made of either glass or clear plastic, for humid air to circulate the interior.
If the words green & house were separated, it then becomes green house, as per the riddle, and the answer could be "green bricks". As its not & the words are joined, the "green bricks" answer cannot be correct.

@davidcuerel: If you must use bricks instead of panes, they need to be GLASS bricks

@Mark K: No colour.
No bricks.
Traditionally greenhouses were made with lots of glass windows, maximizing glass, and minimizing supporting structure, to allow the entry of as much sunlight as possible.

@WADuck: A greenhouse is generally not made of bricks, usually cloth plastic or glass. But a Green House could well be made with green bricks.

Thanks so much for these responses! Really does show how sharp everyone is with these tricky word puzzles!
