Maddie here! Just popping the Monday riddle in early because ah, you may have seen I accidentally sent the Saturday and Monday newsletters today...

The answer to your riddle is "sent", "scent" and "sent".

Another similar fact that the homophones "there, their and they're " as well as a few others are available. Maybe your puzzlers would like to check for themselves:- rode, road, rowed, /// toad, towed toed .... I'd better stop my brain for from following the homophone tangent ///// The word HOMOPHONE comes from the greek "homos" one and "phonos" sound. ( not sure off the spelling of those greek roots, it is many decades since I had to use write them - although I use them, mentally, constantly.
