Riddle Masters 20.04.2022

G'Day Riddle Masters,

I hope you're all well! Here our second riddle of the week for you:

A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, “If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper, then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50.” The boy looked around and saw no scale, so he agreed, thinking no matter what the carny wrote, he’d just say he weighs slightly more or less. In the end, the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?

Oh this is a real good one. Make sure you have a long, hard think about it!

When the boy stepped into the booth he did not realised he was standing on a scale and the carnival man already knows his weight.
