Riddle Masters 18.03.2022

Gooooood Morning Riddle Masters!

As the grandkids would say, TGIF! (Thank Goodness It's Friday!). We love our Friday's because we get to give you lot the third and final riddle of the week, so let's get straight into it, shall we?

Baker, Fred Floury has invented a method of slicing a pancake into eight equal pieces, with only three straight knife strokes. How does he do it?

We think this one is a head scratcher, but let's see how you folks go eh?

As always, a 'spoiler' button will hide yours and others' answers. To reveal those answers simply click the 'spoiler' button, but do your best not to cheat! Even just trying to crack the riddle is good for your brain!

So good luck Ladies and Gents, and Happy Riddle-ing!

With a big family always "measuring" who got more than the other, this one is easy. Cut 1 horizontal slice and stack the 2 halves on top of each other, then cut 3 vertical slices so this makes 8 pieces exactly

Cut pancake in half put 2 halves on top of each other then cut them in half and put the 4 pices on top of each other then cut the last lot in half and you'll have 8 equal pieces using 3 straight cuts presto!
Cheers Jeff Borg

He cuts it into 4 equal slices with 2 cuts at right angles to each other after having sliced it in half to create a top and bottom half of equal thickness thereby 8 equal pieces.

1. Cut across centre & fold top half over bottom half
2. Cut through centre of the two halves and place four quarters on top of each other
3. Cut through centre of the quarters = 8 equal pieces

Yummy pancakes …. Ok cut the pancake into 4 equal size pieces (2knife cuts) then stack all 4 pieces on top of each other evenly and then with the last knife cut carefully slice through the stack- there you have it 8 pieces

You cut the pancake into four wedges (that takes two cuts) then you place the four wedges on top of each other in a stack. Then you cut the wedges in half (the third cut) .. You end up with 8 wedges.
