G'Day Riddle Masters!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are ready to have a go at today's riddle. Here is the first first riddle of the week thanks to member Mary F.

The day before yesterday I was 17 years old. But next year I will be 20 years old. How is this possible?

Today is Jan 1st. I was 17 yesterday but turned 18. At the end of this year on 31st Dec I turn 19. Next year, 31st Dec I turn 20.

The person was talking on the 1st January and their birthday was on the 31st Dec.

Day before yesterday = 30th December age 17. Yesterday = 31st December age 18. Today is a new year in which you will turn 19 so next year you will turn 20.

Today is January 1st. Yesterday was his 18th birthday - 31st December. (thus the day before today he was 17).
This year on December 31st he will be 19 and next year will turn 20 (just).
(This is actually true for my son!)

Its the 1st of January so birthday is the 31st of December
