Riddle Masters 07.12.2022

Good morning Riddle Masters! :)

I’ve got your second riddle of the week courtesy of member Dennis R. It’s tricky, so get those thinking caps on! Here it goes:

Where will you be able to find the 9 reindeer?

Oooh, I’m completely stumped with this one, but maybe you guys can help me out and give me the answer.

As always, our ‘spoiler’ button will automatically hide yours and others’ answers. To reveal those answers, simply click the ‘spoiler button’.

Good luck and Happy Riddle-ing! ;)

It depends on where you left them.

Go to love a "trick" question mid-week! Let's see - The 'ninth' reindeer? Although he's a good friend of Santa's, Rudolph was not one of the original reindeer. He came later with the popular Christmas song, 'Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.' (BTW, Rudolph didn't exist until 1949 !!!!). So, if you want to find the 9 reindeer (not the 9th ..... trick of the question, right?), then you will go to the North Pole. Hi Ho Silver .... oh, dang, that's the Lone Ranger hahaha.

Look up in the sky Xmas eve.

Known as Caribou in North America, Reindeer (Rangifer Tarandus) can be found in the Arctic tundra, Greenland, Scandinavia, Russia, Alaska and Canada. As they have been domesticated in Europe, you could find them anywhere.
Considering they migrate in herds of up to half of a million, covering thousands of kilometres between forest and tundra, finding any particular nine, may be a tad difficult; so I suppose it's where you look for them.
