Good morning Riddle Masters! Happy Friday! 😊

I’ve got your third and final riddle for the week…

One is to three, as three is to five, and five is to four - but four is the magic number. Why?

Now that’s one good riddle, eh? It’s a bit of a toughie, no doubt, so have a good, hard think about this one, members. And if you think you know the answer, post it in the comments below.

As always, our ‘spoiler’ button will automatically hide yours and others’ answers. To reveal those answers, simply click the ‘spoiler button’.

Good luck and Happy Riddle-ing!

The riddle sure does remind me of the saying "2 steps forwards and one step back." Four in this example is important because it is the point we go back to.

number one has three letters, the word three has five letters in it, five has four letters, and four has four letters in it, so it is the magic word

Four is to Four. It is the only number with the same number of letters as its name.
