Recent ads featuring well-known figure have caught attention for surprising reasons

When we think of a well-known Australian family, images of wildlife conservation, a famous zoo, and a notable figure often come to mind.

However, the youngest member of this family is making headlines for a different reason, sparking curiosity among many.

His recent actions have intrigued fans, leading to widespread discussions online. As attention grows, people are eager to see what’s next for him.

At just 21 years old, Robert Irwin has stepped out of his khaki uniform and into something a little less conventional.

In a bold move that has the internet buzzing, Robert has flaunted his muscular physique, stripping down to his underwear for a series of racy advertisements for Bonds, the iconic Aussie brand now launching in the United States.

The wildlife warrior is seen posing confidently with a variety of reptiles, including snakes and a lizard, while donning the brand's underwear in settings that scream 'Aussie.'

These settings range from a quintessential backyard with a lawn mower and a white Colorbond fence to a rustic stock fence and even lounging on a patch of grass.

In the campaign, Robert cheekily suggests that it's the comfy undies that contribute to the laidback Aussie demeanor.

Speaking to US People magazine about the new campaign, Robert's enthusiasm was palpable.

'It was an immediate yes,' he shared with the publication.

'I wish I could say I was very suave and cool about the whole thing, but I was like, 'Yes, let's do it!' because Bonds Australia is an absolute icon.'

But it's not just about modeling for Robert. He's seizing the opportunity to embrace new experiences that push him out of his comfort zone.

'I'm at the point in my life where I'm trying to do as many different and random exciting things, and if it's something that makes me a little bit nervous, that I've never done before and it's a bit of an adrenaline rush, that's what I want to be doing,' he explained.

Beyond the steamy photos, Robert is proud that the 'Made for Down Under' campaign is also a platform to bring awareness to wildlife causes, a passion that runs deep in the Irwin family.

While Robert's professional life is soaring, his personal life has changed.

Currently thought to be single, Robert's first high-profile relationship with Rorie Buckey, the niece of the late Oscar-winner Heath Ledger, ended early last year.

The couple shared a respectful joint statement on Instagram, expressing gratitude for their time together and requesting privacy as they move forward on separate paths.

The internet's reaction to Robert's transformation has been a mix of surprise, admiration, and support for his new venture.

It's a reminder that the Irwin legacy continues to evolve, with each member finding their way to make an impact—whether through conservation efforts or by breaking the mold in unexpected ways.

Sure hope he never sees your cruel statement. What on Earth have they done to you to deserve such a mean comment?
The whole Irwin family is tainted, with the exception of Old Man Bob Irwin.

Steve was nothing but a sensationist show pony, in the same mold as other attention seeking morons such as Bear Grylls and Simon Reeve. They produce rubbish that is gobbled up by the mindless US media audiences.

Little Robbie "The Robot" Irwin is just a faggot, trying to follow in the stumbling footsteps of his father.

I await the backlash....

I like young Robert I feel he is the only genuine one of the lot now. I am glad when he get to do things outside the mother and Bindi both of whom have tried to corral him into the wild life park. It's good to see he is growing into his own self away from his dads legacy.

How dare you make statement about Robert like this do you know him personally, do you know his life style. He is not following in his father's footsteps he is just trying to find his place and so far he is travelling quite well oh and by the way the word you, used to describe him is one that if you say it to many times in public you might find yourself in trouble just saying it is slander you know which is a law enforceable offence.

What do you know about slander, libel and defamation?

Defamation is the publication of material which harms a person’s reputation. Under defamation law, this can include written material, pictures, or spoken statements.

To succeed in an action in defamation, the plaintiff needs to prove that the material published by the defendant contained one or more defamatory “imputations”. Imputation is a negative claim about a person or their behaviour.

Meanwhile....
Slander is a subset of defamation that involves spoken words or transient forms of communication. Examples of slander include:

Verbal statements made during a public speech or meeting.
Accusations made in a casual conversation overheard by others.
Statements broadcasted on live radio or television.

Make sure you know what you are talking about before making accusatory and uninformed statements.

I don't have a problem with Robert doing his own thing or his TV career etc. He presents as a genuine friendly chap who does have an engaging talent. The only thing I do object to is having that bloody snake in the photo as I am so paranoid about them that I can't even look at a photo of a snake without feeling threatened!!!:eek::eek:
