The only "reality" show I have watched is My Kitchen Rules in its early days. Initially it was all about the cooking and the only drama was a burnt roast or a dropped dish. Then they introduced the personality clash dramas and the show went to the dogs. The other "reality" shows display enough garbage in their ads to confirm that it would be a waste of time to watch the trash. Bring back real variety entertainment shows like we had in the old days. Shows like the Paul Hogan Show and Hey Hey It's Saturday were genuinely entertaining (yes, I can hear the moans), but were infinitely more entertaining than the reality dribble.ohh

Fields, and sheer entertainment.
Paul Hogan was absolutely great humour..
M.A.S.H. was very popular. This lost goes on and on.

I agree completely, there are way too many reality shows that are just ridiculous. Why can’t we have normal shows like we used to. Most programs on tv today are just rubbish

Is it possible that so called reality shows are lot cheaper to produce than decent proper shows?

Those who watch it like my kids know it as MAFS I know it as Married At First Sight.

I've watched it once or twice and too me it looks like an experiment.

You do know they actually aren't married!!

Maybe it's a teaching experience for certain viewers at how not to treat a partner .

I watch a lot of reality TV shows on TLC eg My big beautiful life, Little people big world, The Johnsons , Doubling down with the Dericos plus more.

The only reality TV show I hate is Big Brother

If these shows portray REALITY all I can say is GOD HELP US ALL!!!!
Second rate shows all contrived to get ratings & appealing to peoples worst fettishes I’d say: pride, gluttony, coveting, disrespect, misogyny, sexual harassment, etc etc the list goes on!
I will admit to watching My Kit Rules when first came out & then, apart from Manu, the hosts get ridiculous as well!
Then I watched the Block but soon got sick of the token bad couple, the token everything & the hosts got more big headed than their contestants!
Apart from Love Your Garden from UK, & some vet shows, I don’t go near reality TV! Why would anyone want to watch other peeps watching TV - says it all really
