Re Vitamin B 6

I was watching an episode on The Project the other night, and there was a section about vitamins. It really is just so important that we check these out as not all are good for us. My doctor recommended to me about 5 years ago to take Magnesium supplements for my leg cramps. So I did. Then about 6 months ago, I read an article from another senior lady who had numbness in her feet. She delved into it, and it was discovered that it was caused by the Vitamin B 6 that was in her magnesium medication. When I checked my label on my tablets, it also had that included. And Lo and behold, in very small print, there was a warning’ of it causing numbness. The pharmacist didn’t know, my doctor didn’t know, so how are we supposed to know. I have stopped taking it, but the numbness in the pads of my toes may never leave. PLEASE READ ALL YOUR LABELS!

HI there. I never buy any vitamins from a chemist. Yes they may be cheaper in some cases but are of inferior quality sometimes.
I get mine through a Naturapath or at Go Vita who have some trained Naturapaths working there.
I take Orthoplex MagCalm which is a powder, and is Magnesium Glycinate which is gentler on the stomach and absorbed better. It can be taken morning or night.
There is no added B6, only Taurine, Passiflora herb and Melissa leaf extract to help lower stress and help with sleep.
Magnesium Citrate is also a very good type of Magnesium if your stomach can tolerate it.
Watch Dr. Berg on Utube. He also explains how different types of Magnesium work in the body and which ones to avoid.
Hope this of some help to some people.🙂
