Racy Myer find becomes a fast-favourite among shoppers? Would you buy it?

This isn’t the first time a bawdy product has made the headlines… Usually, they become the butt of the joke but this time, shoppers have cleared the item off the shelves in the blink of an eye. Would you buy it?
A controversial Myer homewares print has been sold out after some shoppers pointed out the risqué details in the design.
‘I went to Myer this weekend and noticed this on the 50 per cent off table. I quickly scanned what was in the box, thought “meh” and put it back down,’ one customer wrote in a shopping Facebook group.
‘Until I noticed the print. So yeah, it came home with me.’ she added, referring to the suggestive design of the print, featuring animals engaged in a ‘passionate’ act.
‘As I was having a look, I was thinking “Ohh a new animal and plant print! Those are some cute leaves – oh what are those elephants doing... Oh, and the flamingos and monkeys… Hahaha!”.’ another amused shopper shared.

The Wild Fur You range is described on the Myer site as ‘cheeky’ and ‘a perfect adult gift to stand against the ordinary’ but shoppers are all for it.
‘I've never wanted something so much in my life!’ one woman wrote, while another added: ‘Fantastic!’
‘I almost accidentally got the dog version for my mum for Christmas. I was at the register and was just about to hand it over. I laughed and said, “Better not!” The shop assistant also had a good laugh and sold me a nice candle instead.’ a third said.
The illustrations are created by a talented young Aussie artist, Lilly Perrott – who has made a name for her bold Australian-themed designs as the in-house artist at La La Land.

While some may find the illustrations off-putting, they've become highly sought-after, being deemed both beautiful and funny.
Lilly Perrott’s designs previously caused a buzz and sold out everywhere in 2020.
She explained on her website how the collection began as a simple idea.
‘Well, as with every great idea, it all started as a bit of fun. A brainstorming project between La La Land Founder and Creative Director, Elie Azzi and I.’ she said.
‘What started as a concept of two rabbits humping for a Valentine's Day card soon evolved into the idea of illustrating a variety of colourful animals with tropical, jungle-style leaves to accompany the romantic greeting, “I'm Wild Fur You”.’
They then used the design on tea towels and market bags as a cheeky gift to Valentine's Day customers and the Wild Fur You collection was in full swing in no time.
The range took the country by storm and more products were added to the line-up. They’re now tricky to find so if you spot one, count yourself lucky!
