People have long had these available. Yet the mortality rate pre-true antibiotics was enormous. Says a lot about their real efficacy!
These are every day herbs which aid in recovery. They help to for example instead full blown cold a mild cold.
A study on Google not long ago about cloves.
For example in third world country like Africa and India. They used it during covid, as medicine was expensive. Found it to reduce the system in some cases to just mild instead full blown. Several universities took part in the study. Am open to any Herbal as they don't hurt they are not drugs and don't interfere with your DNA. My father was a herbalist was firm believer in natural remedies.

But everyone options differ, so it's up to the individual I guess

Well, colloidal silver is not a herb. It's a heavy metal! Look up Argyria. The only case I've ever seen was in a lady taking colloidal silver!

Collodial silver if you can get it, is brilliant for getting rid of a sore throat in spray form. Used to be able to buy it at Maddington in WA. Haven't seen it for ages but have forgotten about it also.

Better to try the natural way first as antibiotics are being used so frequently they are losing their usefulness.

I must admit I don't usually have any positive results from natural remedies.
Tried Promensil for menopause with no result, Valerian for stress and Lavender to help with sleep, no results.
However one thing that I found works 100% is ginger for travel sickness.
I have always suffered from motion sickness plane. boat, even the back-seat of the car. Always took TravelCalm but found it made me very drowsy which was a problem when having to drive after a flight.
I was always too scared to try ginger because of my previous use of natural remedies that didn't work.
However about two years ago when I forgot the pills and couldn't find any at
the airport I tried the ginger.
It actually worked and I've been using it ever since.
Now all I need is a natural remedy for restless legs, which is very extreme when travelling. All suggestions will be gratefully received.

I agree with Babybird. Sometimes you have to explore alternatives to heal. They are my first option now. Pharmaceuticals are not always conducive to good health. Sometimes they cause more harm than good.

I totally agree with you about ginger. I always have some on hand, it works wonders for nausea.

I would recommend you try some magnesium for restless legs. I take 2 magnesium gummies just before bed.

Try taking a magnesium supplement. Ask chemist for reccommended products.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I have been taking magnesium supplements for the last 51 years since the restless legs started when I was 27 and pregnant with my youngest son., to no avail.
A pharmacist put me onto Sifrol several years ago now, which works most of the time and he suggested upping the dose when travelling. On my recent trip to NSW it did work but still has the side effect of drowsiness
Just had to get a cab into Brisbane, stay at accommodation until the next day and then go by train to Grafton. So much easier to hire a car, but at least the flight was OK. I guess you can't win them all.
