Who among you remembers walking to the corner store to get pink musk sticks as a kid? What other lollies featured in your bag of treats?

Still eat them but the new ones don't stay fresh for very long

loved sucking and twirling them to a sharp point when they were hard. and yes I agree NotNats the modern ones don't stay as fresh or taste as good. Probably have half the sugar and god only knows what else removed from them. Still look for them anyway when in need of a sugar fix.

My mother and I would go to the little shop to get some mixed lollies to have watching TV, we would get a mixed bag and one chocolate each mine was a white knight. The mixed lollies had musk sticks in it and I would get the bag first and pinch all of them, they were the soft ones, then all of a sudden they became hard and I really lost interest they were too hard to eat.

I can still remember the strong smell of the musk sticks. I bet they don't smell or taste the same today.
