Picking passionfruit

Who here picked passionfruit from the backyard vine? Back then, kids would sneak over to the neighbour’s fence to pick this sweet fruit. Ah, those were the days of fun and adventure, weren't they?

We still grow passionfruits but instead of on the fence we grow it on an overhead trellis type of thing

I love how many varieties we now have

I'm picking them now

we used to get in trouble to walking across the carport roof to get to the vines that had climbed up the trees in next doors yard. It seemed to make them taste a bit sweeter. Same story with their apricot tree if we didn't get caught.

Picking them off my vine now. Second crop for the year. the vine is not sure what to do as the seasons
have been unpredictable, theyr'e confused.

We didnt have passionfruit, but certainly had a good supply of mulberries and loquats. I never see loquat trees nowadays?
