before you post American recipes, please adjust to Australian ingredients. What are crescent rolls? How much is a stick of butter?
By the way, I agree with the rail/roads argument. Get rid of most of the big trucks and go back to rail - but of course you cant do that, the transport companies are too powerful

All you had to do is put it up on Google ask for equivalent ,
In fact I did ask Google, and it says that a can of Crescent Rolls is bread dough layers, and not the same as puff pastry . So, can you let us know what exactly you used as a substitute?
 
I checked out Walmart website. It's this. Would have to use puff pastry and cut it to make a crescent shape. I was thinking to sub it with a croissant, but it said crescents are similar to bread.
