We've all been there. You're shopping for your weekly groceries, and you spot something that makes you do a double-take. Whether it's a hilarious misspelling on a sign or an innocent mistake that's just too good to be true, these little moments always seem to brighten up our day.
But what if the thing you spot is something a little more... X-rated? That's exactly what happened to one mum who was recently browsing the freezer section at her local supermarket.
What she found was a bag of dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets that appeared to be engaged in some very naughty behaviour.
'I’m not sure what happened in the bag of T-Rex nuggets, but I can only assume what they have all been up to whilst chillin in the freezer,' she wrote in a post on ALDI Mums Facebook group.
The mum also shared a picture of the two 'dino' chicken nuggets in the packaging that seemed to be in an X-rated position, leading many people to believe that they were engaging in some sort of R-rated activity.
The post captured the attention of hundreds of group members who saw the humour in the epic packaging mistake.
One user asked: 'Aren't these supposed to be for kids?'
Of course, these nuggets are supposed to be for kids, but as one parent commented, they may be a bit too suggestive for some.
The original poster also said that when her daughter asked her about the weird position, she did her best to not give her child an explicit explanation.
'They were for the kids, but as a parent, I told my daughter they were just hugging each other!' she said.
However, the mum acknowledged that the position could be considered a little 'suggestive' for adults...
She added: 'For us adults, it looked like an orgy on the plate lol.'
Several parents also shared their experiences with explaining the 'naughty nuggets' to their kids.
'I’m too mummy mode. All I see is a little T-rex clinging to mum's leg while she just wants to get some stuff done,' one mum wrote.
Another chimed in: 'My son loves it when their feet are sticking up he says they are doing ninja kicks.'
Others joked about how the dinosaurs are trying to reproduce so retailers will not run out of stock.
One person said: 'Clearly just making sure we don’t run out of stock.'
'And this is how Dino nuggets are made,' another comment read.
Some users compared the position of the dinosaurs to the dreaded ‘birds and the bees’ chat.
One mum wrote: 'My 4yo: "Mum, where do Dino nuggets come from?" Me: "Well son, it all starts at the freezer section in ALDI..."
But, one user said that whatever these 'naughty nuggets' are up to, it's clear that they are having more fun than some of us are currently experiencing in our own lives.
'More action than I'm getting,' they joked.
Most of us experienced parenting innocent children at some point in our lives. And while some of us don’t have to deal with explaining (or should we say maneuvering around?) explicit things to children, we can understand the struggle that some of these parents have to go through to ensure not to taint their kids’ minds with ‘adult’ thoughts.
So, there you have it, folks! Do you also find the humour in these awkwardly-positioned nuggets? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
