Parents seriously deserve the world. The unconditional love that they have and willingly show to their children are unmatchable. However, is it possible to go too far with the affection? This mum definitely doesn’t seem to think so.
An artsy mum, Emily, proudly shared a couple of the adorable lunch creations she had made for her five-year-old daughter that involved using edible ink markers on Facebook.
Emily scribbles directly onto her child’s meals with edible markers as a creative way to foster a positive experience that enables her to learn how to eat better.
The loving mum got her hands on the $21 Edible Ink Markers from Amazon which can be used on just about any food item and are completely safe to consume by children. She makes an effort to switch it up every day by drawing varying scenes and popular television characters onto her daughter’s sandwiches and wraps.
She usually prepares a wrap or sandwich for her child with fillings that are either cream cheese and turkey or bologna and cheese, alongside a handful of fruit, vegetables, jelly, and biscuits.
Some examples of the characters Emily has previously drawn are Peppa Pig, The Hungry Caterpillar, and Baby Shark. She also occasionally creates drawings that match holidays and public occasions such as Christmas, where she made candy cane sandwiches! How neat and wholesome!
For grandparents who are willing to give edible art a shot, she recommends using the edible ink markers on tortilla wraps since the flat surface helps make the process a lot more efficient. She also suggested that another exciting way to prepare meals for kids is to use cookie cutters to create fun sandwich shapes.
Emily’s creative ideas have garnered a lot of attention online, with thousands of users left in utter amazement and the urge to try it out themselves.
“Oh my goodness…. So ridiculously adorable!! What a special lunch.” a user wrote.
“My four-year-old may actually eat lunch now! I'm stealing your ideas, they are brilliant. Thanks!” a fellow parent added.
“This is way out of my league. I'm just over here making sure the bread isn’t mouldy hahaha!” a third joked.
