Ozzy Osbourne shares shocking health revelation in a recent interview: ‘It’s been absolute hell’

Many admire Ozzy Osbourne for his wild tales of hard rock and unadulterated debauchery. But even rock stars like him get a dose of reality once in a while.

This time, it's come in the form of a grim health battle, which, as he puts it, has been nothing short of 'absolute hell'.

Sadly, time has taken its toll on the Black Sabbath singer as he continues to suffer a catalogue of health issues over the last five years.

Ozzy, 74, recently appeared on UK talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored with his wife of almost 35 years, Sharon, alongside their children Jack and Kelly, to give an update about his health and chat about their plans to return to Britain.

Despite having a surgical procedure done just two days prior, Ozzy also looked in good spirits during the interview.

The surgery was done to fix a major break in Ozzy’s neck which he obtained from a biking accident.

'I finally had my last procedure two days ago,' Ozzy shared.

'I can’t believe I’ve come to the end of it. The main thing is over now, I’m done with the surgery.'

'But it’s been five years of absolute hell for me and my family. The family has been so supportive of me, I couldn’t have done it without them.

'It’s been a really bad scene. I have Parkinson’s, but I never think about it.'

Ozzy admittedly did not realise the severity of the injury and said: 'I carried on working with it, until I had a fall and then … everything came undone.'

'I don’t gripe, I get on with it. If you are still moving, you ain’t going to be dead,' he added.

His wife Sharon, who was a former X Factor UK judge, shared how much their family life has changed in the last five years following Ozzy’s accident.

'A partner … it changes your whole life,' Sharon shared.

'Suddenly, you are off in another direction and your life changes so drastically. It’s really hard,' she said.

'Especially in the summers as every summer Ozzy works and goes out and does festivals.'

'[But] for the last five years our life has changed dramatically.

'On the other hand, it’s great I had Ozzy at home for five years. He’s driving me crazy!'

Sharon previously shared that seeing her husband suffer was torture.

We, here at the SDC, all hope for Ozzy’s continuous recovery and hope for the best for the Osbourne family!

Wow, another local to my old area. I lived at Peakhurst and caught the train each day to go to school at Kingsgrove, and then later to work in the city. Also attended ballroom dancing classes with Ted and Barbara Hilton and played tennis at the Millidge's (?) courts. I don't remember a lot of the old things but I'm sure there was a picture theatre, it was the only place I was allowed to go with my boyfriend (dropped off and picked up by parents of course)
When I was really small maybe 4 there was a picture show where they opened up a franklin's. Where in peakhurst did you live. I lived in Gover St, I was born and lived in Peakhurst until I was 13 then went to live with my mother and then went to Kingsgrove North High. I'm turning 62

I remember the Franklins now. I have 10 years on you and lived there until I got married in 1970. I lived in Orana Crescent which is near the golf course. When we first moved there when I was perhaps 3 or 4, it was bush down the road, then the tip which was great fun, and where Peakhurst Heights now is was still a pig farm. I had a friend in high school who lived in Lawrence Street (I'm pretty sure). Her name was Monica Lynch, you would have recognised her as she nearly always had her violin with her

Omg my aunt was friends with Monica Lynch , my aunt is nearly 10 years older than me her name was Carol Brannigan . I lived with my grandparents and my aunt.

I'm trying to remember the golf course

I just looked it up, you were closer to Mortdale , I lived very close to Peakhurst Park which is close to Lawrence St.

Did Monica have other sisters, remember my grandmother always saying my aunt was around at the Lynches. I think there was also a Margaret Lynch
