Ozzy Osbourne shares shocking health revelation in a recent interview: ‘It’s been absolute hell’

Many admire Ozzy Osbourne for his wild tales of hard rock and unadulterated debauchery. But even rock stars like him get a dose of reality once in a while.

This time, it's come in the form of a grim health battle, which, as he puts it, has been nothing short of 'absolute hell'.

Sadly, time has taken its toll on the Black Sabbath singer as he continues to suffer a catalogue of health issues over the last five years.

Ozzy, 74, recently appeared on UK talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored with his wife of almost 35 years, Sharon, alongside their children Jack and Kelly, to give an update about his health and chat about their plans to return to Britain.

Despite having a surgical procedure done just two days prior, Ozzy also looked in good spirits during the interview.

The surgery was done to fix a major break in Ozzy’s neck which he obtained from a biking accident.

'I finally had my last procedure two days ago,' Ozzy shared.

'I can’t believe I’ve come to the end of it. The main thing is over now, I’m done with the surgery.'

'But it’s been five years of absolute hell for me and my family. The family has been so supportive of me, I couldn’t have done it without them.

'It’s been a really bad scene. I have Parkinson’s, but I never think about it.'

Ozzy admittedly did not realise the severity of the injury and said: 'I carried on working with it, until I had a fall and then … everything came undone.'

'I don’t gripe, I get on with it. If you are still moving, you ain’t going to be dead,' he added.

His wife Sharon, who was a former X Factor UK judge, shared how much their family life has changed in the last five years following Ozzy’s accident.

'A partner … it changes your whole life,' Sharon shared.

'Suddenly, you are off in another direction and your life changes so drastically. It’s really hard,' she said.

'Especially in the summers as every summer Ozzy works and goes out and does festivals.'

'[But] for the last five years our life has changed dramatically.

'On the other hand, it’s great I had Ozzy at home for five years. He’s driving me crazy!'

Sharon previously shared that seeing her husband suffer was torture.

We, here at the SDC, all hope for Ozzy’s continuous recovery and hope for the best for the Osbourne family!

As a teenager I loved Black Sabbath but now I see how dark most of their songs are.

My favourite song would probably be Changes although I liked Ozzie's version of John Lennon's Woman.

I enjoy watching a show hosted by Jack in his parents home where he is trying to convince his parents of supernatural events

MONEY DOES NOT BUY HAPPINESS AND GOOD HEALTH.

So what? There are plenty of elderly in Australia doing it hard, without public sympathy and on inadequate incomes.

Had all of their albums, along with all of Led Zepelins kept them for years even when my record player was hijacked during a house move I refused to give them up, No idea why, I was just so invested in their music as a teenager and they reminded me of another life

In the good old days when you could download anything and everything through u torrent, Pirate Bay and Limewire, I had over 50,000 songs on an external hard drive. It was stolen along with 1400 LPs and about 400 CDs. Whole discographies of popular artists as well as my favourites, obscure punk, techno and industrial metal.

That's sad 😔. Do you remember the record and music shop in Riverwood. I learnt to play guitar 🎸 there

I went to Riverwood the other day, my granddaughter attends speech therapy there, and as we were walking I remembered the old hardware shop I think was called Cains opposite woolworths and the stairs next to it that led up to a dentist Jenkins
I'm loving all these memories that come back every time I go there .
It also feels sad as it feels like another life time ago

Old school metal was the best. Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Uriah Heap, Motorhead, etc. But then came along those insipid hair metal bands - Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Slayer, Judas Priest, Anthrax, Iron Maiden... That's when I gave up on that type of music - too samey to me.

WOW and more WOW!! I used to buy all my records from there in the late 1970s early 1980s. The guy would order anything and everything for me. He even got me an import version of B-52's first album before it was released in Australia.

It was Cams with the doggie drinking hole in the wall. Trevor's Sport Store was diagonally across Belmore Road. Woolies on the other corner and Forrest's petrol station.

Wow, another local to my old area. I lived at Peakhurst and caught the train each day to go to school at Kingsgrove, and then later to work in the city. Also attended ballroom dancing classes with Ted and Barbara Hilton and played tennis at the Millidge's (?) courts. I don't remember a lot of the old things but I'm sure there was a picture theatre, it was the only place I was allowed to go with my boyfriend (dropped off and picked up by parents of course)
