The $222.07 receipt dishes out a message in response to a request for ice in their drinks. Underneath an order of a glass of Terre Forti Pinot Grigio, the receipt read: 'Ice in it f***ing bogans'. Another order of the same wine and a glass of prosecco were also listed with 'ice in it'. The message was presumably a note left for the bartender.


Users on social media are outraged by the 'rude' message left for the customer. Some defended the customer for requesting ice in their wine.

The staff in the public service areas are constantly complaining about how they are treated by consumers. Is it any wonder when people of this caliber are given employment? It's hard enough to run a business without employing nasty little individuals who are caugh expressing their normally hidden opinions. The staff involved should have been terminated from theirpositions instanly.
 
I am a non-drinker, however, do expect to receive service when I pay for it regardless of what it is.
The price that drinks are, customers have a right to ask for it to be served a specific way. If it is an over the top request, then the customer needs to be politely advised of it. Who trains these people?
If I ordered something and for whatever reason, asked for a variance, there is no way I would have tolerated such an insult.
I am not afraid to ask for a manager and make my feelings known.
Just shows what an ingrate the server is. Most receipts are issued with a staff member ID on them. I guess he/she didn't care about their job.

Having been in the businesss for quite a number of years, the customer isn't always necessarily always right, how ever in this case he certainly seems to be. Personally I used to prefer single malt and used to cringe when people used to ask for water, or coke?? although one cube of ice was exceptable.Call me a shob if you like cause i don't care, thats just th way I liked it.

If i were that customer i would've thought it was hilarious! Kid has a great sense of humour in his workplace! Too many shitty places to work these days, can't even have a bit of fun any more it seems!
