Also anyone with Woolworths credit cards will lose their cards. It is being cancelled and you will be sent a Macquarie card instead. At least the rewards card will still be usable. I only shop with them in person fir good specials. The delivery costs were to high anyway. Cokes gives much better service with their deliver costs.

My wife and I have mobility issues and we have been using online shopping to either click/collect or home delivery to do our shopping. Having two insurance policies with Woolworths entitled us to 10% discount on our orders. we have been advised that from 1st July the only way to gain our 10% discount is to physically attend the store. How are we supposed to attend the store and walk the necessary distance in the store to do our shopping? Will be physically impossible or will take all day to shop as we would require constant breaks to rest. If this isn’t blatant age/disability discrimination I don’t know what is. We have shopped at Woolworths for over 50 years. I did ring Woolworths to complain. They said they would note my complaint but were under no obligation to respond to it.

Woolworths and others have a new product, its called' environmental responsibility' it involves their new product..they buy bags for 0.03c and force people to pay .40c each not bad1000% profit (they use 230 000000 bags year) same as Coles same deals of course its not about the money its about the the environment good corporate citizens I still don't know why they don't sell a lot of their fruit and veg loose instead of in plastic containers( I recently purchased 500 g of snow peas in such a container and wondered why)..maybe the environment only suffers from free plastic bags, the paid for bags I see at the tip must be faulty or something why else would anyone throw them away....beats me....We really are stupid customers

Very very disappointed in Woolworths, as a pensioner with health issues I have cancelled my a/c. Will look at the other super markets. Shame on Woolworths you make enough profit as it stands. Even young families are battling with their shopping each week, everything has doubled in price!!!!!!!
the sad part is, there is nowhere to go Coles and Woolies are a duopoly..at present Aldie are an alternative but they are gradually catching the same method of business

I don't know if anyone read Woollies email advising the changes but I am surprised that they could not decide what they were actually doing themselves. It quite clearly states that there would be no increases in the minimum order size and it also states that they will not be charging for bags but then it goes on to announce the actual increases and costs. I rang Woollies as I am a very long-term customer and all I got was a convoluted reply after the consultant had kept me on hold so she could talk to her superiors about the obviously conflicting information in their email. I am disgusted. My mother, God bless her soul taught me in the late 50s that I should always shop at Woollies which I have done ever since. I am now heavy of heart in having to find another more intelligent supplier.
 
I have nothing against any company making a profit, after all that's ultimately what they're in business for. What I do take exception to is the unfeeling way in the current climate they cut services, put up prices, squeeze suppliers and generally steamroller their way over everyone. They came to the party when covid hit and were as helpful as they could be but now they are hitting folk when they are already down. They are obviously not reading the room at the moment. 😟

If you are elderly and disabled like me you have no choice. Swap to Coles and wait for their increase.

How are yu dscriminated against? You are using a service and there are costs involved
You have to be joking? Tell me you are not really misunderstanding why we are being discriminated against. We have been previously offered a 10% discount once a month off one shop IRRESPECTIVE of whether it was online or in-store. There are many people who, because of disability or illness, can ONLY shop online and Woolworths is now saying you can only have the discount if you come into a store and it cannot be used for online, click and collect or direct-to-boot orders. We CANNOT shop in-store so please tell me why you think this is not ableist, discriminatory and just plain wrong. They are offering the discounts only to those able-bodied and precluding older, disabled and ill customers!

Their Everday extra program has changed too. Points decreased and can’t use the monthly discount online. Must be in used store. Considering their profits it’s unfair. We r struggling but the executives and stockholders r getting richer at our expense. 😡

Same as ourselves with our pet insurance so time to look at other alternatives I’d rather not give them the money now $907 million half yearly Profit and they do this . 👎

like all businesses woolies have to cover the cost of these services they would be one of the biggest employers too, so they are entitled to make a profit.
Of course they are entitled to make a profit, didn't you see the massive profit they made for the last 6 months.
With all the hoopla about all the benefits of their not so long agoRewards Program, getting people to join up, pay a yearly fee, and then turn around and move the goal posts.
It is reprehensible, and outright money gouging.
I no longer shop at Woolies for anythin, why would you, they are dearer than both Coles and Aldi

I have cancelled my Delivery Unlimited service. The numerous changes made have not made it worth for me, as a two person household, to continue. Sad because I suspect that people will probably lose jobs, especially in smaller populated areas that like me, embraced the service originally when lockdowns happened, and have continued with it until now.

When I originally signed up for this program the agreement was 10% off one shop each month. That included home delivery. Now they have changed to in store shopping only to get that discount.🙄

People with mobility issues, disabilities or illness which makes it impossible to shop in store are definitely being discriminated against.
This doesn't affect me as I live too far away from shops to get delivery.
Nonetheless I think it is reprehensible that a company that makes the profits that are made by Woolworths, thinks it is OK to bring in this rewards program, get people to sign up, and then change the rules.
I for one will not shop there again
I wonder how legal this actually is, but I'm sure they have some fine print somewhere to cover their backsides.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
