Organise your linen cupboard with this $5.50 brilliant Kmart trick!

Is your linen cupboard a chaotic jumble of bed sheets, pillowcases, and towels? You're not alone. Many of us struggle to keep our linen closets in order, despite our best folding efforts.

But fear not—a clever Kmart shopper has shared a simple yet ingenious trick that could revolutionise your storage woes for $5.50!

The savvy shopper discovered that the Narrow Fridge Organiser with Handle ($5.50), typically used to sort fruits and vegetables, is perfect for tidying up those unruly linen shelves.

Priced at just $5.50 each, these organisers offer an affordable and effective solution to streamline your cupboard chaos.

The shopper shared her discovery on social media, explaining how she reorganised her linen cupboard using these kitchen storage items.

'Reorganised the linen cupboard for sheet storage. Super quick, easy and available in the kitchen storage area (beats the linen version for me),' she wrote.

'At only $5.50 each, it certainly makes it very easy to pop on down to the local store and grab more if needed. Kmart Australia for the win!'

The post quickly garnered praise from fellow shoppers, who were quick to commend the 'brilliant idea.'

Many expressed a preference for this hack over other more expensive storage options, such as Kmart's $12 bed linen box.

‘That’s what I do! I love how they are sturdy, ventilated, clear, and you don’t have to be a pro at folding the sheets since the container is large enough to accommodate all styles of folding techniques,’ one person said.

Others chimed in with their approval, with one saying, 'I’m stealing this idea, thanks for sharing,' and another adding, 'Great idea, I was worried about the sheets being in a box with the other option but [with] this they still have air circulating.'

When asked about the capacity of these organisers, the original poster confirmed, ‘You can fit one set of sheets or quilt with pillowcases. I fit my Super King sheet set with pillowcases.’

But the versatility of these fridge organisers doesn't stop at linen.

Shoppers have found many uses for them around the house. They're dishwasher safe, BPA-free, have a top carry handle and boast a 4.8-star rating on Kmart's website.

‘These fridge organisers are a perfect fit under the sink at a very cheap price,’ one shopper wrote in their review, with another adding, ‘Have used to organise cake boards and card stock. Perfect size.’

‘I use these organisers to hold my baking trays and serving platters. It is so much easier getting the right tray out of the cupboard. No more having trays slipping and sliding everywhere! Wish I had done this years ago!’ another user shared.

Even professional organiser Curate Home (@curatehome_nz) has endorsed the product, calling it her 'favourite Kmart organisation product' and revealing that she uses them 'all over the house’.

‘Bonus hack- two of these will fit in one square cubby space,’ she shared.

Summer sheets, winter sheets, pillowcases, doona covers, etc for the whole family, not to mention towels, face washers, tablecloths etc in a normal linen cupboard, it starts getting a bit expensive.
What's wrong with folding them neatly and stacking them like people have done for years.
Money saved can be better spent elsewhere.

No doubt endorsed by a "organising expert influencer"....

My mother taught us to fold sheets, towels, pillow cases etc with the folded part facing outwards & to stack them in size order, not dump different sizes on top of one another. My linen cupboard is always tidy as a result.

We really do not need to buy more plastic! Learn to store neatly and cleanly, and stop hoarding wretched plastic ‘helpers’! The only one they help is the seller whom you are helping to make rich!
Think before you buy!

Mine too. On the other hand, my stepdaughters is like a minefield, everything falls out when you open the door.
I've given up on tidying it for her.

If you had 10 of those in your linen cupboard it would take up the space of another sheet at least

Don't know how we stacked all the linen in the nursing home without those containers. Everything in perfect folded rows in order and inspected by Matron. 😇

JUST LABEL EACH SHELF AND KEEP TIDY EACH TIME YOU PUT AWAY ON THAT SHELF.

I need an organising influencer at my home!
So do I, immediately. It could all be done by the time I return home.
STEP 1: Hire a 6 cubic metre skip bin.

STEP 2: Get rid of all the crap in your residence, starting with the "you might need one day" items.

STEP 3: When the skip bin is overflowing, call the hire company for collection.

Easy done! :ROFLMAO:

We do not have a Kmart and by the time you add the freight charges it is not worth the bother to order on line. We do have three Coles stores and I notice prices for the same item are different in each store. This is madness, although I am now told that the biggest of the Coles in town is shutting shop.

I have one of these in my craft room to hold large paper pads that I use for card making. Perfect for that, but I don't think our linen cupboard would fit enough of them to hold all our sheets and towels.
