Nurse shares creepy story of UberEats driver who delivered her food allegedly stalking here — “I could just scream”

One nurse has reported an Uber Eats driver for allegedly stalking her after he delivered the nurse's McDonald's breakfast at her home.

Sharing the chilling story on TikTok, Justine recalled that she decided to order food after her 12-hour shift from the hospital, rewarding herself for the "long night".

When the driver arrived at her home, she claimed that she instantly felt creeped out after he asked her inappropriate questions such as whether she was in a relationship.

She says in the now-viral video: “He starts talking too much so I said ‘I need to go to sleep. I need to go back in. Thank you so much, bye’.”

However, when the conversation ended, the driver allegedly messaged Justine via the UberEats app.

"I'm speechless," the nurse says.

“I could just scream.”

The video also shows the messages the driver sent her, including a note where he asked: “You’re single? Married? You have a boyfriend?”

Justine says that she actually lied and told him that she was in a relationship in a bid to stop him from pestering her.

However, she claims that the driver insisted on knowing how long she had been with her said boyfriend.

She says: “I obviously just lied, saying I have a boyfriend, goodbye.”

The driver did not give up, giving her his number in case "one day" she decided to give the man a chance to go out with her.

"I don't have a chance," the man says.

Aside from Justine's claims that the man “kept calling” her from “different mobile numbers”, the man was also allegedly "lingering outside" the nurse's home.

Justine remarks: "You know when you go to rate your experience to close it? The man starts ringing me on my mobile.”

The video ends with the nurse saying: “Not only does this man have my mobile number now, he has my address. Now I’m tired, I’m tired.”

The nurse said in a follow-up video that she had reported the driver to UberEats.

Justine shared: “They said they were going to speak to the driver because it was inappropriate."

“I’m probably just going to delete the app, to be honest. It’s just a shame.”

It was said that the driver is apologetic for the incident.

An Uber spokesperson said that the company found the incident "unacceptable", assuring their customers that it was an isolated case.

“What has been reported is totally unacceptable and we are currently investigating this incident," the spokesperson said.

“Couriers found to have behaved in this way face permanent removal from the app.”

“Uber has a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, and behaviour of this kind can result in losing access to the platform,” the spokesperson said.

“If anyone experiences harassment after their delivery, we encourage them to report it to Uber right away, so we can look into the report and take action.”

This is just too creepy for words. I used to lament that we lived too far out of town to have any delivery services but now I'm glad. Living alone you can't be too careful.:(

Many years ago, when my children were small, I caught a taxi home from the shops. During the drive the driver chatted to my three year old son who said that his daddy didn't live with us any more.
After that, the driver was constantly turning up at my house at all times of the day or night.
This lasted for about two or three weeks and was becoming really scary, so I ended up getting my next door neighbour to come over and pretend to be my partner beforethe driver gave up. Felt so insecure and scared I ended up having to move to a flat so he couldn't find me again.

I don't use any of those delivery services for just that reason. They end up with so much of your personal information. I would be reporting him to the police as well as complaining to UberEats.
I only get food delivered if the outlet has it's own delivery like Pizza Hut and Dominoes.

I had very similar experience some years ago. NOT nice at all.

I completely agree with Dingo! Having had more than one bad experience with Taxi Drivers, I am strongly of belief these new drivers, in particular from another culture, need to be educated in acceptable behavior toward female passengers. Too many times I have heard of friends & acquaintances who have had bad/scary experience with drivers. They do not seem to understand their attitude & behavior toward women is far from acceptable & it is the company or their Bosses who need educate them on the rights & wrongs. There is often reports in media of drivers being taken to Court for unacceptable behavior. Educate these males!!
