When l was doing my apprenticeship at the Railway Workshops in Midland W.A. we were allowed 8 minutes. That was from your work place, to the toilet block, do your business & return. Take any longer & my Foreman would be on my back. [aresole].
Sometimes the toilet manager was asleep, you didn't need to give him your Service # to record so another visit in the afternoon was possible there or to another toilet block.
