My name is Jamilah aka Jane, I’m 68 yrs old married to a Saint and his name is Peter and he’s 71 yrs young.

We have 3 children and 7 grandchildren and we live in Northern Gold Coast.

Love the Gold Coast! My partner and I visited Burleigh Heads last year.

What do you like to do for fun / hobbies?

Hi, my husband is a keen clay target shooter and also loves fishing. He often takes our 11 yr old grandson out on his little boat for a spot of fishing.
I on the other hand do not have a hobby but keep busy helping out with the grandkids.
Love taking our grandson to his karate training and watching him train . He started when he was a wee lad of 5 yrs, he’s 11 yrs old now and graded to his black belt last December 2021.
It was a very proud moment indeed.
And I love catching up with friends for a bit of lunch/dinner and lots of laughs.

Very impressive on the black belt - I wish I had've stuck to martial arts as a lad, but I don' think I ever made it past white belt

Clay target shooting looks very fun and is something I've always wanted to try... Does he need to go to a shooting range to do that?

Yes he shoots at the Gold Coast Clay Target Club.
As a child it’s often difficult to stay focus and committed to an activity without lots of encouragement and support. Our grandson is very lucky that he had and still have awesome Senseis encouraging and supporting him on his karate journey.
