Have you ever wished you could track your grocery shopping in real-time, so you know exactly how much you're spending and how much damage you're doing to your wallet?
Well, supermarket giant Woolworths has recently introduced a new Scan & Go feature that exactly does that and shoppers are loving it!
Sydney TikTok user Queenie Tan, who has gained a following for sharing little-known money-saving tips on social media, has recently discovered the feature on her Woolworths app and was quick to sing its praises, describing it as "life-changing".

Sharing a video of her exciting find, Queenie said: "You need to try this Woolies hack!”
“Just open the Woolworths app and click on settings [then] Scan & Go.”
The clip then showed the Sydneysider shopping at her local Woolies store, informing the viewers that the feature lets customers use their smartphones to scan the barcodes of the items they want to buy as they put them in their bag or trolley.
Queenie said: “You will see how much it will cost and how many items you have.”
“I don’t have to be shocked at the counter anymore."

And when the customers are done shopping, they just simply head to the dedicated Scan & Go checkout and pay – without having to go through the main checkout line.
"All that's left to do is pay and leave," the TikTok user said.
It's quick, it's easy, and it's becoming increasingly popular with shoppers who are looking for a more efficient way to shop.
Queenie's video has gone viral, amassing more than 790,000 views and over 900 comments.
One user wrote: “My shopping will be so cheap this way.”
“I was going to do this a while ago then totally forgot about it! Thanks for the reminder," another quipped.
A third chimed in: “That’s pretty cool. Don’t think my Woolies has it though.”
A Woolworths spokesperson confirmed that the new feature is the company's way to introduce a "smarter" — meaning, technologically advanced — way of shopping at its stores.
“Scan & Go is the faster, smarter way to shop for your groceries at Woolworths,” the spokesperson said.
“Customers download the app on their phone and simply scan the product barcodes as they walk through the store if Scan & Go is offered at their local store.”
Ben Garvan, Woolworths head of digital in-store, said that the retailer also offers this new feature to help customers budget their spending on groceries.
It should be noted, however, that the feature is currently only available in 49 stores across the country.
While this feature is not yet available at all Woolworths stores, it is hoped that it will be rolled out to all stores in the near future. In the meantime, shoppers who are lucky enough to have access to Scan & Go are loving it and finding it to be a huge time-saver.
