Never, ever give up!!​

Hello everyone! One of our members, @Viking Boy would like to share his story about never giving up.


This Wednesday 26th March, I'll be 67 young. My youngest child, Oscar (21) told me I'm officially an "old fart" on that date, aren't they adorable.
My story within a story is one of never giving up. Over 25 years ago, two mates, Geoffrey & John, plus myself created some original stories & characters to entertain & educate children & families.

We had a number of publications, including a series of episodes in a Disney magazine with our characters & concept. Five years ago, I started developing & evolving story into a video game for the whole family which was more than challenging for a myriad of reasons.
Amazingly after years of determination (+ my life savings) the story of Albert's Ark will come alive this year on the Steam platform. Pretty sure I'll be the "oldest fart" on the planet to publish a game, thanks Oscar!

Sadly, Geoffrey passed away late last year & as I'm Godfather to his children, I knew I had to continue our legacy.

The story intertwines fact, fiction and imagination for an adventure of Fun, Food, Folklore & Fantasy.

Like nearly everyone on SDC, I was not "au fait' with the Steam platform or in fact, most social media terms and sites but keen to understand more to keep in touch with children & grandchildren.

As a picture says a thousand words, I have a collection of colour illustrations and even a 90 second trailer of the game.


It's also his birthday today, so feel free to give him a shout out!
