Mum reveals the unlikely product for removing ink stains on furniture — Hint: It’s sitting in your bathroom cabinet!
Yesterday, we reported about how one unlikely product can actually be a good substitute for bleach when removing dirt from your bathroom tiles.
But did you know that a staple grooming product that you might have in your wardrobe can also be used to remove permanent ink as well? The product we're about to reveal may not be the one you expect!
Melbourne mum-of-two Chantel Mila, also known as Mama Mila, revealed that she actually uses hairspray to get rid of ink stains from her coffee table.

Hairspray can actually work as a stain remover as it contains alcohol which helps break down the enzymes of the ink.
“The secret stain remover is in your bathroom cabinet,” Chantel said in the video.
The video shows Mama Mila spraying a generous amount of hairspray over a table stained with permanent ink.
The mum lets the stain absorb the hairspray for 15 minutes before wiping the surface with a microfibre cloth.

The marks seem to be magically lifted with just a few wipes, leaving the table looking brand new!
The viral video has garnered more than 12,000 views, with many TikTok users backing Mama Mila's claims by admitting that they have tried the simple hairspray method themselves and that it "legitimately works perfectly”.
Others, who have just discovered this "magic", said that they couldn't wait to try it out for themselves.
One excited person wrote: “Oh my god! This is so clever.”
"Wow!" another chimed in.
Mama Mila also suggests using the hairspray cleaning method on ink-stained fabric couches and chairs.
