1 If you've got a camera in your phone take a photo of the receipt, preferably on top of the item before the receipt fades away.
2 If you bake at a higher temperature use a Pyrex dish. They're safe & not that expensive.

I had a toaster that only cost $10.00 I used this a couple of times and we could smell like something was burning. The bread inside was on fire and I quickly turned this off let it cool down and put it in the bin. Buying anything electrical at Kmart is dangerous. Especially for children. I do not buy anything like that from Kmart.

Many times you get what you pay for! If it is cheap 'caveat emptor!' Buyer beware in other words. In this day and age when we have to look for bargains best to check products out if you can. On basic essentials like cookware, buy the best you can afford, it will repay you by not having to be replaced, and not putting you in danger!

As she has used the dish for "over a year" - which could be any number of years beyond one, there is a good chance that it may have suffered a minor crack at some point which compromised the dish.

It doesn't take much to crack ceramic dishes, but of course, some people find it absolutely necessary to share every minor event in their life on social media.
