If we had it our way, every morning would start with a delicious stack of sweet fluffy pancakes. And we’re sure we aren't alone!!

Making your own pancakes from scratch can be a pain when you’re still wiping the sleep from your eyes, and pancake mix can be pretty expensive, and often is just not the same!

Worry not because we came across an Aldi breakfast item that would make making pancakes in the morning (or anytime, really) a piece of (pan)cake, and they taste pretty fantastic to boot!

In fact, shoppers are calling it ‘the best out there’ so we’re sure this delicious brekky treat will be a hit among children and adults alike.

Sharing in a Facebook group, one shopper posted a photo of Aldi’s Lion Pancake Mix with a straightforward caption which read: “Delicious. Run now!!!!”

Aldi’s Lion Pancake Mix comes in a shaker bottle and is available in three flavours: choc chip, vanilla, and maple.

To start whipping up the batter, all you have to do is add milk to it and shake the bottle. Once done, you can pour the batter straight onto the pan. Easy, right? Let the grandkids get involved and get them working those shaking muscles!

Fellow Aldi customers who have tried the pancake mix commented on the post, saying good things. One person wrote: “Yes, these are by far the best instant mix pancakes ever!”

“Best pancakes I have ever had,” another person said.

One mum wrote that her kids love the pancakes as well, and even blamed ‘Christmas elves’ for hooking them with the product.

Going for an Aldi grocery run, now? You might want to consider their Brownie Batter Dip as well, which is available for $3 and has been described by several shoppers as the “most delicious dessert ever”.

I buy the ready made pancakes from Aldi, that way I can limit () the amount I have at one go. A 30 second nuke in the microwave and you have a plate of deliciousness!! Love them.

Here at our aged care residence we are lucky enough to have a hot breakfast choice every morning which I'm told is very uncommon in aged care. In most facilities there is just cereal and toast with jam for breakfast each day. We are certainly grateful here for our morning chefs who regularly make us pancakes etc. Today's hot breakfast was smashed avocado, baco and scrambled egg on toast. Yummm.

For my brekkie this morning, I did a toasted English muffin (2halves), with smashed sardines, salt and pepper, and grilled them until piping hot. Extra special!

I really can't see how homemade pancakes are expensive, or hard to make.
