Hell, I would just appreciate the gift. Some years ago I was asked what I wanted and I suggested something just for me, and a surprise. I received a rain guage. To the best of my knowledge romance isn’t dead, but it’s on life support in this household!!

I suggest you buy your hubby a blowup doll, so he can practice his CPR when your life support fails!!!

I laughed so hard I cried!!! Many thoughts sprang to mind, most of them not really shareable with a polite audience, but he knows I have an Advanced Care Directive in place so he would have no reason to practice CPR. Other things maybe

A rain gauge is a pretty good thought & gift. Now you can check the amount of rainfall & advise him.
Did you have to install or did he, now that would be a bonus.
