Thought everyone should know this. Was free now you have to pay.
Just found out that if you require an e script because you can’t get to the doctors well you now have to have a phone consultation which now costs you $50. Regardless if you’re an age pensioner or what. I don’t think this is fair $50 is a lot out of your pension. Thought you may be able to pass this on to other members. Thanks Brenda

If it is your regular GP and he/she has issued scripts for the same medication previously all should be good. As long as there have no issues with the medication then really you shouldn’t require a eConsultation. Ask the Dr why you have to have a eConsultation on the phone and if you are dissatisfied with the reasons discussing this will help. It may also waiver the fee for you, hope this helps.
