Lifetime love 💕

I read this in Quora recently. It’s so beautiful I thought it is well worth sharing in our Seniors forum
Thanks for your great work. Always enjoy.
Max Briggs

He is 85 and insists on taking his wife’s hand everywhere they go. When he was asked why his wife kept looking away, he responded, “because she has Alzheimer's”. Then he was ask, will your wife worry if you let her go? He then replied, ′′she doesn't remember anything, she doesn't know who I am anymore, she hasn't recognized me for years.” Surprised, I said, “and you have continued to guide her every single day even though she doesn't recognize you?"
The elderly man smiled and looked into my eyes and said, ′′she may not know who I am, but I know who she is, and she is the love of my life”.
I Love this story ❤️❤️

This reminds me of a movie called The Note Book.

A man reads to a lady that lives in a retirement village.

The story is about the life of a man and WOMAN.
A beautiful love story of how a young couple met married and had kids

It was a story of how love could conquer all and how nothing could break their love.

At the end of the story the women remembered for just a few minutes that the story was about her and her husband was the man reading to her.

To this man it was enough just spending this time with his true love and just those few minutes of her remembering him was enough.

English Professor here, women is plural

Good on you, Suzanne Rose, for standing up for yourself.
I am glad you are willing to have your say, while I shut my eyes to the errors in grammar or spelling or whatever.
Doesn't matter if it's due to typos, or maybe misunderstanding, or incomplete knowledge, or missed schooling, a medical condition, or English as a second or third or fourth language....everyone.....HAVE A GO, have your say and be proud you did.
EVERYONE.....be tolerant.....
