The driver is caught speeding... Not the bride
If you want to tell an exciting story AT LEAST TELL THE TRUTH
Dress up the truth it is a better story,,, and believeable

Many years ago, a friend of mine from the country was running late for his wedding in Adelaide. When he was pulled over for speeding the police officer asked whose wedding he was going to as he was wearing the suit, frilly shirt and bow tie. When he said he was already 1/2 hr late for his own wedding they gave him an escort to the venue to get him there quicker. No speeding fine was given!

I drove myself in my brand new Holden Monaro. It was the newest and flash-est car in the town.
Every one did we had no chauvered or rolls Royce cars within 400 miles.
The local cop was invited so he would stop me or the after wed party.

He was coming from his farm in the South East mother wedding venue in the Adelaide Hills. He was also driving his work Ute.
