A Kmart shopper took to TikTok to share a disturbing clip taken inside a Sydney store following a shopping frenzy which took place after the NSW government lifted the state-wide 106-day lockdown.
In a now viral TikTok clip, user @heidilyons1 revealed how frenzied shoppers ravaged a Kmart store in Sydney, days after the retail chain opened its stores to vaccinated shoppers on October 11.
The shoppers left an unbelievable mess — piles of unfolded clothes thrown all over displays in the women’s fashion section, various tops, pants and skirts haphazardly hungover the top of clothing racks, ripped tags scattered all over the ground, and other pieces of clothing kicked under clothing racks made mounds of rubbish.

The Kmart shopper, who captioned the clip with a series of hashtags which includes #whatamess #covidlockdown #norespect and #lostyourmind, asked: “Sydney, what is wrong with you?”
The TikTok clip found its way on Facebook where users expressed their disgust with the situation.
One Facebook user said: “What a disgusting mess, whoever left the store like that should be ashamed of themselves,”
“Got to feel sorry for the poor staff who are stuck cleaning it up. Not on.”
Another said: “Like a bomb’s gone off.”
