Kmart shopper blown away by $49 hair curler - “Holy s***! That’s amazing!”

Gone are the days when you have to go to a hairdresser just to achieve gorgeous locks. Now, you can easily look your best in the comfort of your own home– and it’s all thanks to the wonderful hair styling gadgets available to buy these days.
Recently, one beauty item took thousands by storm after a shopper gave it a shot and shared the result on a popular Facebook group. To add to that, it’s also hailed as a dupe (that’s three times cheaper) to a similar and beloved high-end brand.
Angela Bain took to the Facebook group Kmart Hacks & Decor to share her impressive purchase.
“Not a hack or decor but this Kmart hair curler is fabulous and for only $49 – it’s a great buy! I have super thick hair and I’m amazed at how well it performed! Terrible pictures but I wanted to give it a go for fun.” she captioned her post alongside snapshots of the result.

Angela’s post drummed over 1.9 thousand reactions and 500 comments from fellow members raving about how similar the outcome was to a popular brand, costing upwards of $169.
“Wow! This looks like it’s just as good as my Wylera brand!” one person wrote.
“Thanks for the feedback. I saw them today as I was going through the checkout. I will have to go back and get one!” another added.
“Holy s****, woman!! That’s amazing!” exclaimed a third.
However, several users questioned how long the curls could last to which Angela responded: “So this is now, 5 hours after I did it. They (the curls) have dropped but I absolutely love it!”

Other members of the group shared their personal experience with the $169 Wylera curler.
“It works well but because my hair is thick, the battery goes flat just before finishing my hair and I have to charge it. Would be interesting to hear how the Kmart curler goes,” one woman shared.
“I ordered it a few days ago too and didn’t realise there is another brand that is much cheaper,” another responded, while a third added she also wished she had known about the Kmart version. “I would have tried it before ordering the more expensive brand,” she said.

Those who already have the Kmart curler said that they were very impressed by it.
“I have the Kmart one and I really like it,” one shopper commented.
“I just got this one and it’s simple to use. It works better than I thought. It’s definitely replacing my normal curling wand now,” another chimed.
But a third warned others to be careful about a tiny downside that the item has. “Be careful if it’s not fully charged as it will keep your hair and not let go,” she said.
Unfortunately, the Kmart Auto Curler is currently out of stock as it gained massive popularity. So as of now, we can only keep an eye out for when it’s available if you’re interested!
