Kids in cars

The cars were tanks, the speed limit was 50 mph and every other driver wasn't playing with their phone while driving.
Cars back then were heavier and didn't fold up like a tin can. Still amazed we survived!

Obviously they should have helmets and safety glasses on

As a child & teenager I rode unrestrained in backs of utes & station wagons endlessly & even when my own kids were little we used to put the pram into our van with child in it and just hold on to the handle ..... and it wasn't that we didn't have high powered vehicles - Grandfather, Dad & hubby all had V8s BUT back then we simply did not have the volume of traffic we have these days! Or as many selfish speed driven drivers .....

Personally loved the roads during lockdowns 😁 reminded me of the good old days so much!
